Cypress Woods High School and the Cypress Fairbanks ISD will host the 2008 Cypress Fairbanks ISD Cross Country Invitational meet on Friday, October 3, 2008 at Spring Creek Park in Tomball. Last year we had nearly 700 participants competing on this challenging yet beautiful course tucked within the woods of Spring Creek Park. This meet will feature Varsity Boys, Varsity Girls, Junior Varsity Boys, Junior Varsity Girls, and Freshmen Boys divisions. Each of these five divisions will be limited to 7 team members each.  In addition, there will be an “Extras” race for all remaining athletes to participate in.  The extra’s race will not be timed and no awards will be given. The entry fee will be $40 per Boys team and $40 per Girls team.  The athletic Director’s Agreement will be honored.

The facility will be equipped with plenty of parking and restrooms. Results will be compiled on Hy-Tek’s Cross Country Meet Manager and will be available shortly after the completion of each race.  Awards will be given to the top 10 of each division.  Team awards will be presented to the champions of each division as well. The course is scenic, many rolling hills, and all grass (except road crossings). We are excited about being involved with each participating school and look forward to hosting another quality meet for the athletes.
